Our Commitment to Green Business Practices
Critter Connection Inc. has extensive recycling programs that start with us purchasing green and buying organic as our first choices. We recycle paper of all types, cardboard, glass, all types of plastic and metal, aluminum cans, and donate usable recyclables to local community service charities. Additionally, we also:
- Use full spectrum compact fluorescent lighting in our offices and for bird lighting.
- When caring for house plants, aviary plants, and our gardens we use organic gardening methods and organic pest controls – if needed.
- Packing materials used when mailing out our products are recycled. We reuse boxes as we can and encourage our mailing box suppliers to use recycled materials.
- Use biodegradable and nontoxic cleaning products throughout our facilities.
- We recycle and/or refill toner cartridges.
- Employ holistic and natural healing methods, with food and nutrition as the foundation, for healing ourselves and the animals.
