It is during the times of facing our largest challenges that we ‘experience the truth’ of who we are,
‘the truth’ of what we are made of.
Are you willing to ask yourself a question, and give yourself an honest answer?
.
If so, ask yourself:
.
“Am I acting from fear right now?”
“Or, am I acting from a place of hope? Knowing everything will work out ok.”
.
For me, acting from a place of feeling hope aligns me with an energy greater than myself. This energy comes in many forms depending upon your personal beliefs. When I align with this hopeful, higher power, the life force energy that animates all life on this planet, a positive attitude naturally forms inside me. And this positive attitude helps me see the bigger picture.
.
The bigger picture of how, even during this extremely challenging times, people are still reaching out and helping others.
People are still supporting causes they feel strongly about. People are acting ‘as if’, life is returning to ‘normal’.
The bigger picture can also manifest as how: when a problem arises, nature naturally provides a solution. The bigger picture of: there really is enough for everyone, if we act ‘as if’ life really is returning to normal.
.
And when we make decisions from a place of ‘acting as if’, this is the place where miracles can happen.
.
If you are drawn to the idea of supporting our fundraiser to help us pay for expenses to form our nonprofit, and to help pay for the initial vet expenses for our eight budgies in quarantine, then let me ask:
.
“What has been holding you back?”
.
This morning I helped one of our customers, named Art, with a phone order of sprouting blend for his parrot. I told him about our fundraiser, and do you know what he said? He explained, “ I’d really love to help, but I’m on a fixed income.”
.
I replied, “If every person wanting to support our fundraiser donated something, this would help very much. If 500 people donated $5 each — we would be very close to our fundraising goal”. (And, let me explain: we have many more than 500 people on our mailing list.)
.
Then do you know what he did? He decided he could donate $5 to support our fundraiser — a fundraiser that he really believed in and wanted to support. So he did.
.
Or, do you feel embarrassed because you cannot donate what others have donated? Or, because you cannot donate what you would like to donate? And this causes you to take no action at all. Please know, every donation helps us reach our fundraiser goal, and every donation — especially now — is GREATLY APPRECIATED.
.
So, I invite you, to act from a place of hope.
.
If you like, or even love, the idea of supporting our HUMANE exotic avian Long-term research project, then please follow the link here and make a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated! If you live in a country not supported by the GoFundMe platform, please email us at [email protected] and we can send you an invoice for your donation amount.
The beauty of crowdfunding is that if everyone donates what they can, all these donations add up and then, before you know it, we’ve reached our goal.
.
Because of ‘current events’ our fundraising has been slower than expected. And this led us to reschedule our initial vet visit for our eight Budgies, so we’ve moved it back a few weeks. We also had no control over the time frame of when the breeder would be ready for us to pick up these eight birds that have been donated to the Healthy Bird Project especially for this Long-term study. All we can do is do the best we can, with what we have, and with your help we’ll meet our goal.
.
Thank you for supporting our fundraiser. Help us take flight.
You helping us, ultimately lets us help you. As you will benefit from the information we gain, and this information will help you improve the health and wellbeing of your parrots, your feathered family members, who you love and care for.
.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
The wellness of your birds is my passion,
Thank you for your support.
