Please know that when mailing your order to you in the US, many times we barely cover our mailing costs. The mailing fee we charge you is very close to what we must pay to mail our products to you.

The reason Amazon and the other multi-billion dollar bird food companies can offer FREE SHIPPING is because they are not charged the actual cost of what it costs to mail their packages. And, on top of this, someone has to make up the cost difference. You guessed it! It’s small business like us, and regular people like you, who must make up the mailing costs for the FREE SHIPPING that these mega-giant companies can offer.

International Mailing Costs
If you ever made an international order you will have stumbled upon the mailing costs. From large, multibillion dollar companies they are inexpensive — even free! However, when ordering from a small company like BBFE! they become important fees. Here we will try to explain the reasons behind our international mailing costs. We also provide a list of general shipment rates to guide you in the possible costs of your BBFE! international order.

Why are the international mailing costs higher?
The mailing rates for shipping any product depends on the weight of the item. That means that the heavier the product is the more expensive it is to transport it. Although greater weights, of one hundred pounds or more, can receive special rates.
In addition, there is a minimum amount to pay for the service.
And while small businesses have to abide by those rules, multi-billion dollar companies that ship huge volumes of products are applied special rates, and they don’t pay the real, full price mailing costs.
Mailing rates are so high for small businesses because it is these small businesses that are forced to pay the difference. It is regular people like you, and small businesses, that must pay the mailing costs that the multi-billion dollar companies are not paying.
