According to the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) May 2010 database for the ORAC value of selected foods, rose hips contain 96,150 mg of antioxidants per 100 grams of rose hips. In the October issue 213, of Parrots magazine, this column contains a chart showing the ORAC value of certain foods. A modified version of this chart is shown here. Of the 12 foods shown rose hips are the highest ranked food.
